About

Join me for an afternoon of relaxed stitching as I share the story of Rosalind Franklin, one of Cambridge's most famous alumna.

Born in 1920, Dr Franklin is most famous for her work on finding the structure of DNA alongside James Watson, Francis Crick and Maurice Wilkins - but this is just part of her story! Franklin's incredible career spans countries and disciplines, from helping to develop more effective gas masks during the war, to some of the first work exploring the structure of viruses.
