Sip and Stitch is a fun and relaxed social stitching session, perfect for a night out with friends. Sessions are designed to be beginner friendly (no sewing experience required!) and everything you need is provided.
Sessions are run by experienced textile artist Steph Norwood, who will take you through the month's activity step-by-step.

Bring your friends, grab a drink and settle down for a fun evening of social stitching.

Take a seat
Grab a spot and find your materials and tools at the ready - needles threaded and knots tied! Ready to get straight to the fun bit.

Stitch away
Get stuck into our seasonal textile and fibre based activities - from sewing and embroidery to dyeing, there's always something fun to try.
WHAT WILL I TAKE AWAY?
Your own unique piece of stitched artwork! The finished item varies from session to session, but we often make something both beautiful and practical, such as stitched or printed bags, clothes, accessories or decorations.

MATERIALS

All of my workshops use natural materials and are plastic-free
I work with wool, silk, cotton, glass and metal
Vegan options are available for most workshops

TECHNIQUES

I love to work with historic techniques and bring a modern style and practicality to traditional crafts.
I work with various embroidery techniques including goldwork and blackwork, as well as fabric dyeing, weaving an braiding traditions.
