Collaborative upcycled textile art commission from the University of Cambridge Museum of Zoology.
In this project I delivered three public workshops and a final collaborative artwork for display in the museum's education room.
Participants were invited to create artwork of their own favourite animal using old clothing scraps, which were then combined into a co-created blanket.
The workshop and final artwork explored the unseen connections between humans and their environment - how are we connected to local (and not-so-local) wildlife? what do we have in common? how do our actions affect the environment we all live in?
